DAYTON, Ohio, Dec. 20, 2022 – TriComB2B, a national agency focused on business-to-business marketing of technical products and services, has announced the winners of their first ever Meadowdale Marketing Pathway Scholarship.
Three Meadowdale Career Technology Center students were awarded prizes as follows:
- First place and a $5,000 scholarship: Izabella Sapp Gonzalez
- Second place and a $3,000 scholarship: Paris Parker
- Third place and a $1,500 scholarship: Lorenzo Dabney
The agency developed the experiential learning project to introduce Meadowdale students to careers and opportunities in marketing that would align with their specialized high school curriculum. The mock project — inspired by a real-world collaboration of campaigns and business challenges presented by TriComB2B’s client, Henny Penny — gave participating students a chance to showcase their creativity and uncover their own industry-related skills.
“We are proud to present these exceptional students with scholarships that will further support their budding talents and interests,” said John Buscemi, TriComB2B principal. “It was inspiring to see the marketing world through their perspectives. TriComB2B looks forward to our continued involvement with Meadowdale and its talented students.”
“We are very appreciative of TriComB2B for offering these scholarships to Meadowdale students,” said Dr. Elizabeth Lolli, Superintendent of Dayton Public Schools. “The real-world project experience and financial support will greatly benefit these students as they begin college.”
In addition to the Marketing Pathway Scholarship program, the agency plans to expand its relationship with Meadowdale through ongoing mentorship and internship opportunities.
