Who you are:
We’re searching for communicative candidates who are proactive and passionate about B2B marketing and the clients we serve. Account Executives act as points of contact for our clients. They build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships, always striving to develop the best marketing strategies for the individual needs of each client. They aid internal departments by documenting essential information for project execution, connecting team members with client subject matter experts, and providing guidance on deliverables. They also stay abreast of industry and marketing trends.
To succeed in this position, candidates should have exceptional communication, technological and problem-solving skills. They should be resourceful, analytical, adaptable and organized with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Basic responsibilities:
- Keep up-to-date client billing records.
- Provide updates on tasks as required.
- Comply with project/task deadlines.
- Focus on superior client service levels.
- Document and report issues, trends and suggested improvements.
- Follow the direction of direct supervisor, client or client lead.
- Assist clients or the team with a variety of needs.
- Prepare, update and utilize training materials and other resources as needed.
- Proactively seek out additional responsibilities as capacity allows.
- Act as a liaison between the client team and external suppliers as needed for project execution.
- Maintain calendars and appointments.
- Collaborate with clients and internal personnel to build positive relationships.
- Consistently comply with the company brand and external image.
Intermediate responsibilities:
- Participate, along with other account team members, on the management of multiple client accounts.
- Assist in cultivating client relationships.
- Coordinate or delegate day-to-day responsibilities as needed.
- Assist in the development of marketing strategies and the execution of client programs and campaigns within budgetary parameters.
- Ensure project budgets are on track and within scope.
- Cultivate and lead the development of client proposals, project scopes, and new business opportunities or service lines.
- Identify areas of growth within accounts and create opportunity strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate marketing efforts and find growth opportunities.
Requirements:
- Ability to manage 1–2 client accounts.
- Abilities to understand and analyze data.
- Participate in presenting proposals and deliverables to clients.
- Assist in cultivating client relationships.
- 1 year working as an Account Executive (or similar).
- 2 years working in a team support role.
- Ability to work in a team setting.
- Work independently and remain motivated.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure, with a positive and solutions-based attitude.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to appropriately prioritize workload.
- Excellent active listening skills.

- Working to proficient knowledge of computers and MS Office suite.

- Ability to manage multiple and complex accounts simultaneously and in a timely manner.
Preferred experience:
- Demonstrated proficiency and understanding of marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Pardot, Eloqua, Marketo or others.
- Abilities to evaluate, maintain, cultivate and secure new business and existing client opportunities.
- Abilities to collect, track and analyze large amounts of data and research and develop insights related to trends.
- Ability to foster solid relationships with clients and other team members.
- Ability to lead successful growth programs.
- Ability to think strategically while maintaining project management skillset.
- Deep understanding of marketing tools/programs.
- Excellent project management skills.
- 1 year of B2B/agency experience (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree.
