Marketing Automation Coordinator

We are searching for communicative, organized and high-aptitude candidates who are passionate about marketing automation and the business-to-business (B2B) clients we serve. The Marketing Automation Coordinator acts as a key team member in implementing and executing client demand generation programs. They understand the value of coordinated lead generation efforts and operate marketing automation software on behalf of our clients to deliver results. They collaborate well with agency and client team members. They also stay trained and certified on common marketing automation platforms.

To succeed in this position, candidates should have exceptional organizational skills, computer and marketing software experience, technical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Your day may change quickly, so you must be adaptable.

This role reports to a Senior Account Executive.

General Responsibilities:

  • Manage tactical execution of clients’ marketing automation requirements.
  • Learn, understand, and execute best practices for marketing automation for B2B enterprises.
  • Maintain high-level, basic understanding of clients’ demand generation goals.
  • Collaborate with Account Executive teams to understand client demand generation strategies.
  • Work closely with Marketing Technology and Digital Media teams as needed.
  • Communicate directly with clients on specific tasks.
  • Exhibit exemplary customer service and responsiveness. 
  • Manage deadlines.

Specific Duties:

  • Lead and support marketing automation system setup.
  • Implement nurture campaign strategies, including content plan, triggers and scheduling (strategy is developed by an Account Executive).
  • Implement behavior scoring as applicable.
  • Develop automation rules and track completion actions.
  • Build and populate email templates and landing pages (basic knowledge of HTML a plus).
  • Collaborate with TriComB2B’s resources (Account Executives, Marketing Technology, Digital Media, Creative, Design/Graphics) to collect all necessary assets.
  • Segment and build dynamic and static lists.
  • Coordinate and support technical requirements related to lead-to-revenue attribution, ROI calculations, social media connectors and analytics. 
  • Support ad hoc reporting and audit requests.
  • Test and ensure accuracy and quality of work.
  • Complete and maintain training and certifications on multiple marketing automation platforms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • 2 years’ experience with marketing automation software; working knowledge of one or more of the following platforms: Marketo, Pardot, HubSpot
  • Computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Abilities to review data and results and make recommendations and decisions
  • Abilities to build rapport and collaborate with others, both within the company and externally
  • The adaptability to manage multiple account requirements in a single day
  • Self-motivated and strong time management skills
  • Abilities to multitask and work efficiently and effectively to meet required deadlines
  • Abilities to learn quickly and apply that knowledge
