Who you are:
We are looking for a Digital Media Specialist to join our team. The role requires a blend of search engine marketing, social media, website, project and metric tracking, and account management support. This position reports to the Senior Media Manager.


Responsibilities:

  • Strategic development and execution of social media campaign strategies across a variety of channels.
  • Execute search marketing and social media campaigns, including audience targeting, campaign development, ad copywriting and implementation.
  • Monitor and optimize organic and paid social media channels based on traffic, engagement and campaign-specific KPIs.
  • Assist in content development and copywriting for digital campaigns, including but not limited to: social media, programmatic, SEO, Google Merchant Center and website campaigns.
  • Conduct research on competitors, keywords and trending topics to support digital campaigns and strategies.
  • Assisting in client proposal development for new social media and content programs through competitive research, keyword research, audience segmenting, etc.
  • Work with the TriComB2B design and production teams to develop creative for use in social media and programmatic campaigns.
  • Collaborate with TriComB2B content and account teams to map content and target audiences for optimal campaign performance.
  • Review content to ensure webpages are optimized for search engines.
  • Ensure clients are well-cared for, and receive prompt responses to edit requests, questions or concerns.


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a communications or marketing agency/department environment
  • 3–5 years of experience with digital marketing efforts in social media, search engine marketing, email, or other related activities
  • Strong copywriting skills; attention to grammatical detail
  • Can receive constructive feedback, without being afraid to share their ideas for improvement or optimization 
  • Multitasks and has good project management and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented; communicates clearly and courteously via telephone and email as well as in person; possesses or is willing to develop strong presentation skills 
  • Has a strong work ethic in a team environment; is a self-motivated go-getter who can drive projects to completion while respecting other perspectives and personalities 
  • Exercises common sense  
  • Doesn’t take self too seriously; possesses a good sense of humor 
  • Some travel may be required to support client growth and agency relationships. 


Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communications or marketing
  • Experience in Google Ads, GA4 and Google Tag Manager
  • Experience writing and scheduling social media posts and monitoring social media advertising (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
  • Past work with industrial companies
  • Bonus: Experience in other digital or traditional media channels
