Agency Marketing Associate

We are looking for an Agency Marketing Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for increasing the agency's visibility in its served markets and creating engagement opportunities for prospects and customers. This position reports to the PR Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Agency public relations, social media, paid media

  • Identifies news release opportunities for distribution and/or placement on agency website
  • Maintains, monitors and acts on agency awards calendar: identifies and coordinates collection of relevant agency work; writes and uploads/delivers submittals
  • Drives agency social marketing efforts across all platforms; sets goals and monitors
  • Identifies speaking engagements and article opportunities in cooperation with agency principal
  • For these activities, engages with PR director for guidance as needed
  • Manages and coordinates any paid media opportunities

Website

  • Keeps website updated with new content, portfolio items and video (coordinates with necessary creative and marketing technology resources); note that this requires attention to agency activity and significant client deliverables worthy of website placement
  • Reviews site analytics and looks for issues and opportunities to improve performance
  • Liaises with digital marketing team regarding on-site and off-site opportunities for improvement; reviews reports and provides high-level observations and recommendations as part of ongoing search marketing efforts

Demand generation

  • Sets up necessary lead nurturing workflows within HubSpot
  • Identifies and coordinates content requirements to support program
  • Executes and monitors activities
  • Content creation
  • Looks for opportunities to create new content with agency subject matter experts
  • Drives agency blog efforts 
  • Coordinates original graphic creation using internal and external resources
  • Develops ideas for fresh video content from day-to-day activities to planned subject matter interviews
  • Maintains consistent messaging and tone in line with agency guidelines

Other

  • Supports community engagement activities
  • Manages marketing plan for agency; establishes specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time-bound goals for marketing activities
  • Keeps CRM records current
  • Creates a dashboard with metrics and calendar of all key marketing activities for visibility; meets with public relations director and agency principal at established intervals to review progress and understand activity horizon
  • Manages budget
  • Looks for new opportunities to increase visibility and enhance agency image

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 1-5 years of experience in agency or marketing-related functions, preferably in business-to-business 
  • Ideally possesses basic knowledge of Adobe Suite or similar creative software
  • Ideally has working knowledge of photography or video production equipment
  • Works well with others; this position requires working with nearly every agency resource plus some outside partners
  • Multitasks and has good project management and organizational skills
  • Has a strong work ethic in a team environment; is a self-motivated go-getter who can drive projects to completion while respecting other perspectives and personalities
  • Exercises common sense 
  • Doesn't take self too seriously; possesses a good sense of humor
  • Friendly, cheerful disposition. In some respects, this position represents the voice of the agency, so you must exude a confident, positive energy.
