We are searching for communicative candidates who are proactive and passionate about business-to-business (B2B) marketing and the clients we serve. Account Coordinators act as a foundation of support to our Client Services department. They aid internal agency departments by assisting with daily sales activities, brainstorming innovative ideas to improve client relationships, documenting essential information for project execution, connecting team members with client subject matter experts, and providing guidance on deliverables. They also stay abreast of industry and marketing trends.
To succeed in this position, candidates should have exceptional communication, technological and problem-solving skills. You should be resourceful, analytical, adaptable and organized, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Support project and budget management activities for account executives
- Assist account executives in preparation of client proposals, estimates, invoices, marketing/media/PR planning
- Check and approve creative/production materials, copy, layouts and production art, and ensure client approvals of same
- Coordinate project timing and budgets with all relevant agency personnel
- Maintain awareness of and track progress of clients’ projects through traffic manager or other relevant agency personnel
- Maintain communications among agency and client contacts
- Interface with various departments of the agency to complete projects on behalf of clients
- Keep apprised of clients’ products/services/marketing developments
- Assist with clients’ event marketing needs
- Provide input on new processes and workflows as needed
- Act as a client advocate, with a focus on exemplary customer service
Requirements:
- At least one year of marketing experience in an agency setting (preferred)
- At least one year of team or account support experience (preferred)
- At least one year of B2B experience (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
- Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office suite of services
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, balancing client deliverables among multiple projects as well as internal obligations
