When you hear the words “Memorial Day,” what image does that conjure in your mind? Most people instantly think of a day off from work. Some folks may think of firing up a BBQ grill and drinking some cold brews, maybe with friends or family members. Still, others might think of rounding up the troops and taking in a baseball game.

Not me. When I think of Memorial Day and activities therein, what immediately comes to mind are the days-long countdowns played over the airwaves by radio stations. Why? They really bring me back to a simpler time.

After months of planning and packing, we closed the doors in our old offices in Vandalia last week for the final time. Keys, fobs and parking passes have all been distributed to each employee. Our new offices on the seventh and ninth floors of Performance Place in downtown Dayton are officially opened for business.

Fortunately, the move was relatively painless. In fact, Chris Eifert and John Buscemi, agency CEO and CFO, respectively, sent this official message to our clients last Friday, the day of the move:

One year ago this week, to celebrate being named as a Dayton Business Journal’s Best Place to Work, TriComB2B employees were invited to a formal dinner at Performance Place in downtown Dayton —the very near-future home of our agency. In addition to fine wining and dining, great views of the city and the opportunity to network with other industry winners, we were entered into an air guitar contest that would forever go into the annals of company history.
